The shortlist has been announced for the new Independent Higher Education Award at the 2018 Whatuni Student Choice Awards (WUSCAs), which features six IHE members among the ten-strong list of providers.
This is the first time there has been an Independent Higher Education category within the WUSCAs, and expands eligibility for the awards to providers who do not have their own degree awarding powers and to smaller and specialist providers. The category ranks participating independent providers on their student experience scores from student ratings with the overall award going to the top-ranked institution. We’re delighted that the shortlist for the award includes six IHE members: Edge Hotel School, Futureworks, London School of Business and Management, Norland College, Oxford Business College and Point Blank Music School.
The new award has been launched by Hotcourses Group for the 2018 WUSCAs in partnership with IHE and is based entirely on student reviews submitted online. IHE Chief Executive, Alex Proudfoot, will be presenting the award at the official awards evening hosted by Whatuni on Thursday 19th April.
The full list of providers shortlisted for the Independent Higher Education Award is as follows:
- Arden University
- Edge Hotel School
- London School of Business and Management
- Mont Rose College of Management and Sciences
- Norland College
