12 May- Teaching Collaborations – Best Practices and Things to Consider

The teaching collaborations session will focus upon the different types of teaching agreements (progression, articulation, validation, franchise and joint/dual award arrangements) and delve into the advantages and disadvantages of each.

The session will also touch upon some of the key provisions of such agreements and provide insight as to how best to negotiate these, including in particular teach out. In addition, for those who are OfS registered, the speakers will advise as to what are “reportable events” with academic partnerships in mind.

Finally, the session will compare the old and new QAA codes and appraise attendees of their obligations vis a vis quality assurance.
